Radio Box Removal

Anyone else removed the radio box. Still on the fence. Removed Battery holders and made thin plywood platforms. Waiting on Fuller hardware. Still wondering if I want to remove box. Would sure make for alot more room. I running Spektrum and waterproff marine receiver. Any comments.

Yea go ahead and remove it, put your esc lower and your servo on top.

How do you go about removing it? what is the best way?

Pull the lid off unplug the esc and remove it then unscrew the wood cover and remove the reciever ect ect you should see how to remove the tupperware.
