hi boaters!!

Notice to everyone, the marine Turnigy 180A esc is not compatible with the motor 2300kv ammo there is a cogging effect and a sizzling engine at low rate! If someone has had the same config with the same problems it'll be nice to give me advice! thanks to all :o

What boat is it in?
Is it Formula fastech? If yes, did you try your ESC with the stock motor?

Stock motor is one of the best motors out there for your boat. It has power and you can even up-prop your boat a little. Make sure to check temps as you do.
Are you running stock prop or X642? This upgrade prop is all you need to get more speed and fresh set of LiPos....

The ammo is a 6 pole, is the pro boat a 4 pole?

I know somebody posted a timing guide according to the number of poles a motor has...

the ammo 2300 is not a 6pole motor it is a 2 pole. the ul-1 motor is the 6pole one.

ul-1 esc runs this motor flawlessly and in the post above it states that it runs 10d timing. try the turnigy on 10 degrees

the timing of my turnigy is 11.25 ° and then moved to 15 ° and I have already try all the settings and nothing to do! which is strange because with my original motor and another motor in hobbyking everything works without worries! Do you think it would come from the radio or receiver?

maybe you got a bad motor, or the turnigy just doesnt like 2 pole motors

have you tryed the motor on the stock esc? they run great on sv-27 or ul-1 esc's

If the speed control operates other motors then you should be looking at the motor for problems. Could be a bad solder joint or just a lemon from the factory.

On 4s with the Ammo motor and ul1 esc its more than enough run 4s it will last longer and be plenty fast enough .

Thank you all for your help!! My problem is solved, I bought a radio spektrum with a receiver DX3E RM 3000 and the cogging disappeared with some small adjustments that it's on the radio! It must have come from my radio "PROBOAT"!I have set the timing on 3.75 ° because your advice said that for the 2 pole motor timing was between 0 and 5 degrees and everything works fine now! Thank you very much
