i have a hyperion dou (the big fancy one) and want to charge two 5000mah 6s1p batterys at the same time. I know a twelve volt battery aint gonna cut it so what kinda numbers should i be looking for in a power supply? any help is appreciated, thank you much.

you need 130W constant for each pack, 260W total, so for 300W that's 25A under 12V, that's a lot of $$$

Be careful with E-Bay. Power supply current ratings are much like RC Boat speed claims sometimes.

Trini told me to go to RC Tech (http://www.rctech.net/forum/r-c-items-sale-trade-16/) when I was looking for a Rivergate power supply. Got a spanktacular price on one!!! That site has some serious activity so check it often.

For a high powered Hyperion charger, yu can only get the claimed 1000w out if you use a 24v source. I have two listed on eBay, and on here for a little less. Both are 24v 1500w... That's what you need to get the most of an fma powerlab8 or Hyperion super duo net 3

I agree with John, I purchased 2 47amps from feathermerchant and they work excellent in series to run my Hyperion Super Duo3 and icharger 106B+. 12v and/or 24v.

Todd, yes he is local to you in the US, not to me lol, but even to ship here to Canada was worth it.
