NIMH Batteries for Miss Elam

Hi folks, I currently own an SV27 and have 3 sets of batteries that i use for it. I use DuraTrax DTX5000. I'm interested in buying a Miss Elam and although i know the pro's for using Lipo's, the fact that i already have 3 good sets of DuraTrax DTX5000, are these suitable for the Miss Elam? Your advice would be much appreciated.

they should be. i had an elam with 2 proboat 6 cell nimh packs. the trouble is getting the packs in and out . i just left my packs in, cause it was that much of a pain removing them...
