I have nothing but old (10-15 years) Futaba radios, and the one in my Dumas Vee-bottom was acting up last season. I only ran the boat a hand full of times, the problems i was having was the throttle would keep running for a few seconds after releasing the trigger, and it would up and turn out of the blue on a straight run. I debated weather the BEC ESC had anything to do with it, still could be, but rather than deal with the old crystals i'd like to put a new radio in the boat and try that before i go spend another $150 on an ESC. I've been lookin at the Tactic 2.4GHz radios, they are very reasonably priced i think, are they any good? Thanks

Good, affordable, easy to use, will bond with few receivers, light weight, only 4 AA batts.....

there all I use and the best part of all is that they don't need an external antenna on the rx

Yes! you can get rid of that antennae for a more "scale look"

Wow, thats the kinda feedback i'm lookin for... i have to admit i was expecting some "you get what you pay for" and buy the $200 radio replies, but yeah i think i'll order me a Tactic system, sounds good to me!! Do any of you think it will cure my radio problems, or might it still be my Etti BEC ESC? Thanks!!

So I dont have to bind my receiver to each boat before use. Some of my receivers are inside sealed radio boxes and Its a hassle to open each one up just to bind the receiver to the controller.

Yes, you can bind multiple receivers to one transmitter. I am running about 10 receivers from the same transmitter.

The tactic works great! Simple...but also cheap!
