My fastechs esc cant go slow. It wil not go slow enough to dock.
I was wondering if there is a more responsive esc i was thinking of the super vee 27 esc, what do you think

Are you sure you have a esc issue? What troubleshooting have you done? Are you using the stock radio? I would change out the radio system first imo (especially if you have another laying around) before I went to the esc.

Im using a DX3s with a mr3000 receiver
I tried give it throttle until the motor spins the prop at the lowest rpm and the its goes to fast.

O nice radio, just bought one myself haven't used it yet though. Did it do the same with the stock radio? I'm thinking throttle calibration issue that's why I keep asking about your radio system.

It did the same thing with both radios, but maybe i should recalibrate the esc.

I would start their before shelling out money on a esc. To answer your orignal question a sv esc would technically work, but when buying a new esc I like ones with programable features. The sv esc is not programable. But for your reference here's some esc's that would work: I think the hobbywing seaking 60amp would work the best JMO.

When you first power up the esc (with the radio on first) leave the throttle in neutral. You should hear 1 beep. Then apply full throttle, the esc should beep again, then you should be good to go.

Do you have the programming card? Adjusting the esc's brake setting and possible even throttle curve setting may help with this. I don't own the boat or any proboat product for that matter (until the tunnel comes out :rockon2:) so I'm just throwing out some ideas.

I bet it is just improper throttle calibration-- I had this same problem until I figured out the calibration sequence

I looked in the manual and the was nothing about recalibrating the esc.
