I have seen the website before and would enjoy coming on over to run. My family life (5 and 8 year old) leaves my weekends pretty booked up, so I sneak away to a local pond here to run for just 20 or 30 minutes at time. My wife and kids may go off to the West Coast (escape the Texas Heat) for the summer to stay with my inlaws. If they do that I have nothing but time so I can definitely come by. What time are you all getting together next Saturday? I might still try and see if I can make it work(long shot) with my son and father in-law.

I also run my boats in Wimberley on the Blanco and two of them stay up there (sv and ul1). Right now all I have here is a small H&M no-step, a Triton (waiting on a new esc), and another Triton that needs to be built.

We normally get there around 10AM, set up and start running by 11AM or so. We quit between 3 and 5PM, depends on what everyone has to do. Often a few of the diehards will all go out to dinner together. You sll are more than welcome to come out, boat or not, and enjoy the fun. Always best to call or e-mail first, occasionally the club weekends correspond with out-of-town races and when that happens there is no local meet. Hope to see y'all!!

Jay, just wanted to let you know I will not be able to make it out this weekend, but I hope to meet the group out there soon. The good news is that I am headed out to Wimberley and will be running the boats on the Blanco river racing some family members for this summers bragging rights! Chuckle. Our races are around two buoys and resemble a Nascar race where there is a lot of "rubbing" going on. Those SV's are great for that, because you just put some more glass over the damage and a way you go. Should be fun.
