This section is for videos of the SuperVee 27R being released in the summer of 2010.

Lets keep questions in the other thread, to keep this clean.
Thanks!!

Steven,

It is true.. no LVC

As silly as it seams it was a time/cost issue.. also.. what we have experienced..

People will use it with Lipos anyway.. they did and they are...

In general nubes side step the cost of lipos and go the recommended route. the more experienced use lipos.. But not all.. We understand..

On a some what side note MOST tell us they never hit the stutter bump on the 60 amp and would never want to.

I also feel that as good as it is the have a LVC its nice to have good companies out here making lipo shields and what not for products like this.

Having said all this.. this ESC will likely not go through a third version but rather start over when the time comes.. will that one have a LVC?.. yup!

What is improved with this motor?

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXZGW6&P=0

Is this not the same specs. as the old one?

Grim,
Hoping you will chime in here. How do these perform compared to the old SV motors? Is it worth to upgrade the motor in my old SV? :thumbup1:

I'm guessing it's the same motor but before they never actually said it was 1800kv. I'm thinking this is like a minor update car companies do to prolong their sells of aging models until the new model comes out.

At least it's got the tactic radio though I think AQ did awesome on that one!

I like the music in Video 2. Who is that playing?

The 1800 KV is brand new.. the old blue motor was 1700kv.. regardless of what has been posted or said..

The new motor is built to our specs from the same company that makes the 2030..

Detox.. not sure.. might just be canned music.. they just dont like my playing!

Sorry for the newbie question, but would you be kind enough to explain what this means.

Lighter cauging, the SV blue motor is very hard to turn by hand like it has very strong magnets the new motors turn more easy. I don't know why but the pins that help hold the endbells on the motor have been coming loose. it seems to be happening only to the latest batch of motors and Aquacraft has been replacing them thanks Aquacraft any way the new motors are made like the UL-1 and Ammo motors and they use screws to hold them together much better.

With some parts and tips from this site I got 56.5 out of my 27R.I know it's not the ideal setup but it sure was fun.I need to come up with a setup to get this kind of speed on 4S.

Well my primary interest in rc is planes so I like to end each of my boat runs with some airborn stunts. The boat has a UL1 motor,OSE cooling jacket,Seaking180 esc,5.5 bullets,OSE trim tabs,OSE flex shaft and a thrust bearing on the motor shaft. The other things I've done to it are tips I found right on this website which were scuffing the bottom of the boat, ditching the radio box and putting larger cooling lines.I haven't hit anything with a temp gun but nothing is getting hot.I was running an M440 prop but decided to try a Grim Racer 42 55 I bought when I first got my 27R.WOW what a difference in speed and still everything was only warm to the touch. The run did end in a spectacular crash but was a lot faster.61.3MPH
