I just did some eagle tree runs with my XPS 2S 5000mAh (30C) packs and my 2S 5000mAh Thunder power 45C packs. They are virtually the same as far as holding voltage and amp draw. The boat was setup the same for both pack tests. Full throttle the entire time. The speeds were the same too... 65mph
The XPS packs are definitely the better choice for price vs. performance.
