I am starting the build of a sport powered 33" crackerbox. Ken Wiley provided me with the painted hull to help promote the crackerbox and hopfully sell a few. If interested in one of these hulls you can contact Ken at kjwiley@hotmail.com . I plan on making this either an N2 or P power project. Right now I have a Neu 1509 1Y I'll run with a Turnigy 180A esc for N2 power. Hopefully the motor has enough grunt to push her along.

The dimensions of the hull are:
Overall length: 33"
Max width: 12"
Transom width; 10"
Freeboard at max: 3.5"
Freeboard at transom 2.5"
V Angle: unknown, but probably around 3 degrees.

If you guys have any questions about measurements or other about the hull, send me a PM. The hulls are currently make from glass and polyester. An all carbon hull with clear finish may also be available. It can be ordered with or without stringers installed.

Here are some pics of the nitro one Ken built:

Got some good build time in today and now all I need to do is mount the trim tabs and turn fin. Right now it's mildly powered by a 1509 1Y and a Turnify 180 esc. I'll run 2S2p for fun and if I feel the need for speed I'll run her 4S1P. Later I'll put a little more motor in her, but for now given how light this hull and hardware is it should still be pleny of fun.

Good stuff !! Paint job's a little, err, not too subtle !:w00t: This week Rigo's building me a 32" c-box. Was planning a P-Spec [BJ] motor & to conform to the current possible class that's been talked up. The vote was to go sub-surface but actually, I may never get to run with the group that's promoting the class, & I think the boat would handle better with a conventional drive even if not in the true c-box spirit. Still thinking this out.
Then again you could pop in a BJ motor & we could have some grins running together ! :thumbup1:

Hey Tony,

I thought about going the spec route too, but didn't like the idea of using a straight shaft. Eventually I'll probably put a spec motor in it, unless i come across a Caslte or 1512/1512 motor cheap. Or maybe the 1515/0.5Y I have in my toolbox.........

I guess the 32" your getting is the same as mine if it's from Rigo. Shuold be fun indeed.
