Id say this boat has tons of potential. Handles waaay better than I thought it would have.

This run is straight out of the box. Guessed on the adjustments, cog, etc. Needs very little fine tuning.

Run was on 3S2P 2650 mah. Ran about 4 minutes temps were low 120s on esc and motor and 111 on the batts. No gps this run, but Id guess just inside the 30s.

Nice video Scott! Pretty impressive for stock out of the box set up. I agree with you, seems to have some great potential.

Nice! That's the same "bouncing" that the Apparition did out of the box. Dropped the strut down and it went away.. Looks like it handles well and certainly has the appearance of an FE!

It's probably the low speed causing the bouncing. The faster you go the more air in the tunnel, the more lift. That equals less bouncing. It is faster thatn what I thought it would be on 3s though!

Yeah thats what I figured I do as well. Drop it a bit. Right now its set, bottom of the strut at bottom of the sponson (set by table top)

Very true. And yes, it does better on 3S than I though it would as well.

If I can get things wrapped up before dark, I will get a 3S2P 5800mah run in. Yes, 5000s' will fit with no problem. I ran my 2650s because they were charged.

I think the bottom of your strut should be 1/4" to 3/8" from bottom of sponsons
the prop needs to unload some

That is the norm, however, with it lowered the bounce went away. And where it was, it was about 1/32 of an inch from being as high as it will go without mods. Also w/ its original placement, It cavitated A LOT.
