Hi Guys,
Our New King of Shaves P1 Fountain and C1 Offshore Cat are now coming with our new Brushless Outrunner Motors. These Marine Outrunners are designed for trouble free use and provide exceptional power using low amp draw and low operating temperatures thanks in part to the air-cooled can design that draws high volumes of cool air through the motor. The New Marine Brushless Outrunners use our new Clamp Style Motor mount system that uses one screw to securely lock the motors in place allowing for easy, vertical tool access. Both motors are capable of handling 2-4 Cell Lipos or 7.2 to 14.8 volts. The 2000KV motor has a 5mm shaft and a 37mm can diameter. The 2700KV has a 3.175mm shaft and a 27.8mm can.

Not in stock. I did talk to James and my ecs and new motors are being second day shipped to me. I hope this solves the problem!!!! I can't say anything bad about customer service . All I know I thought I had one good boat till the starboard motor went up in smoke. Let's see what happens.
Thanks James, great service

Instead of bashing you, I'm going to ask some questions about the topic.

Can you post the lenghts and weights of the motors?

Both motors are capable of handling 2-4 Cell Lipos
A statement like this with the EKOS got you guys into many problems!
I'm sure that after all the 4s problems on the cat you tested the 2700kv outrunner motor thoroughly before making a statement like that.
2700kv on 4s is a ton of rpm.
Can you tell me what boat you tested the 2700kv motor in on 4s?
Also how long did you run it at full speed on that setup?
How hot did the motors get during that run?
How many runs did you test it?

HEY VENOM
SMART OF YOU NOT TO JUMP ON THOSE QUESTIONS.....
THEY ARE GOOD AVERAGE QUESTIONS BUT...
WATCH OUT HOW YOU ANSWER
THE HEAT QUESTION....GIVE THEM CURRENT AND AMPS INSTEAD.
YOU CAN'T GO WRONG THAT WAY,I ANSWERED THE HEAT QUESTION
AND GOT SOME A-HOLE(WANNABE GERMEN ENGINEER)
TELLING ME THATS NOT HOW TO DO THINGS IN HIS WORLD...
IT'S WORKED FOR ME FOR
THE LAST 3 YEARS BUT IF THEY SAY IT CANT BE DONE THEN THATS IT,IT CAN'T.
ALSO TELL THEM THE SIZE BOAT YOU USED,I'M BETTING YOU PUT THE
2000 IN THE CAT AND 2700 IN A MONO.,
JUST WATCH YOUR BACK,THERE QUICK TO
JUMP AND TAKE THINGS IN A DIFFERENT DIRECTION
IF IT DOESN'T GO THERE WAY.....
YO JAMES THANKS FOR THE HOOK...VENOM#1:beerchug:

I just bought my EKOS and it came with the older green 2850s, of course I blew a motor yesterday with only 3Ss...I have used it less than 75 minutes in total, wires short circuited due to melting near the back of motor. Still waiting for a decent solution from Venom as they are not honoring their 90 day warranty clearly posted on the website..saddening. Sure would be nice to get these replacement motors under warranty...then I would just use the cooling intakes for the esp's.
