Thanks.. someday I might even finish it! It started around 1998-99, then got just about done in 07 when I decided to tear all the track work out and lay scale track rather than the N that was on it... it never did get new track work.....

No, but with EMS shipping Im not that far behind the ball, I supported my LHS and if anything goes wrong w/ it they (the LHS) stand behind any product they sell 100%.

thanks for the info. i guess phil's has a wholesale account with hobby city . . . . but it's probably hard for a local hobbyshop to even begin to compete with the hobby city retail price which, i guess for retail, is somewhere near normal wholesale -- maybe less. any problem with telling me what Phil charges?
thanks,
steve

Id bet a bunch he has nothing to do w/ HobbyCity. The boxes it came in were from Venom, and we all know how Venom stuff is marked up. Im not willing to say what I payed for it, but it wasnt retail and it wasnt as cheap as HC. His sticker price is about 75 dollars but said his next batch will be more. Being "HOBBY related", your gunna pay more for it. Ive found the Sandisc (company who actually maufactures the recorder) sell for about $65 - $100 depending on where you shop.

i made a mistake, sorry. i did not have the sound on when i viewed the youtube video. so, i thought your video was about the boat, not the camera! i was surprised and intrigued that you got the genesis cat (i thought) from a mom and pop hobbyshop in Tampa! sorry for wasting your time....
