I was told today that my batch of Hydras will not be close to what we wanted. We ordered about 40 or so in total and only about 2-5 will be coming in on the first batch. Sorry to let a bunch of you down, but its out of my control. Castle said they only made about 50 in total this first batch! They didn't realize the demand!!!

Thanks for the update Steven, I saw you changed the price from $0.00 to Please E-mail so I wasn't sure what the deal was. I need both super bad. Would it be possible to go ahead and pay you for them? The $$$ is burning a bad hole in my account and I need some other things also....

I called Castle today to ask when they would be making another batch. They said they have some boards now and should have some out by next weeks end. They didn't say how many or which ones, 120's or 240's. They DID say they had no idea the demand was so great and it will take them a minute to catch up to all the back orders.

Well, I have 2 boats & one SC [CC 125] ; I'll have to keep switching back & forth until I can get a Hydra 120. I guess that means I'll buy an Eagle Tree goodie & play with that until then ! :)

Speaking of Telemetery I just finished wiring the DPR in the SV. It only took 2 nights. Tomorrow night I'll make some room in the "water tight" box for it. I did gather some data tonight. When your not paying attention and pin the throttle...she will draw 9.8 amps....LOL

That's where NAMBA and IMBPA have went. Some had some thought that ESC's would hold down the power. Now the fact is that some will have these 250 amp controllers running on 12,000mah 300 amp battery packs. I bet someone shows up with a 48" P class boat and the wake washes the rest up on the beach at the NATS.

My 48" 16 lb. Gas Powered Round Nose has less HP than a 12 cell can and it ran 65 mph in a T/T

12 cell as in 14.8V class

Well it would seem that clubs in this district have givin up on racing electric boats. I STILL havent seen an event listed in the tri state area. The Electric Schedule directory has been completely removed from the District 1 web site. Season begins May 6th....Way to run a race series hu??

I am betting you can purchase a real hydro and join the APBA and ride in it for less than some are spending this season. :D

I was looking into one just before my divorse. Then I gave up the house on the water. After I buy the next house I'll pick up a small cat. How kewl would it be to have a 16 foot cat with 125 on the back and a 2 seat enclosed cockpit. All done up like an offshore boat:D

With colored instructions too. Now if I can just figure out how to put two 10ga. wires in to one 5.5mm plug.

It can be done but it's not easy. I'll tell you what worked for me.

Tin the ends of the wire before you strip them. Cram them into the connector using all of your strength, (you may have to get Kate to help you):p and then solder them up!!;)

No WAY! OSE is a second passion more than a second job. If that was the case I would give it up and do something else. I have very, very few customers that get on my nerves.
