Ok I feel like a nob here but I'm building a Vac-u-Pickle and the hull is ABS. Should I paint the whole thing or just the deck I was going to use Krylon Fusion and what about a good Clear Coat any thoughts? Please help:confused1:
krylon fusion isnt all its cracked up to be, it will scratch just a easy as the regular krylon in my experience. make sure you dont put too much on at a time. light coats no more than 3 per day. as for clearcoat unless you have pro spray eq. or plan on putting on 20 coats from a can then sanding and buffing i think is pointless. just my thoughts

From all my research on clear coats, the 2 part automotive urethanes, like dupont nason 496 is the best option for a glossy durable finish that you can buff and polish. Supposed to resist scratches and chips. Mine sure looks like its gona hold up. We'll see.....
Yeah but you need a sraygun to spray it. Ppg ceramic clear is the hardest most durable out there

Use dupicolor...it is the best in a can.
