According to Fluid, the BJ26 (pro boat) motor is a better quality motor than the UL-1 or Supervee motors. Does that translate to a better motor overall? I guess it depends on what its used for.

IMO it is a better built motor, Its KV is lower then the UL-1 But myself and several guys in our club have just put the BJ motor through hell and they just keep running and performing, Like was said it does depend on what you are going to put it in, how well it will work. you can use more prop with the BJ and they seem to out last the others.

I'm one of those people in his club. 1.5 seasons of racing. I refuse to oil the bearings, I have over proped it (biggest I have tried is an x448). I bought it used. Still runs like when I first got it. I just wanted a new one but can't justify it until the one I have blows up.

One of our guys gets a hair up his butt and drops in 6s in his mono just for giggles. He blew a bearing after 10 or so passes on 6s.

The speedo, other then it's size is awsome too.

Now I won't say it's better quality but so far it's unbreakable. OK I change my mind, it's better quality.
