A kind passerby filmed this for me.
The big Cat with 9XL on 5S to an AndyM 642 (Octura)
It is not up on its tail as I like but this is the only video that I have for now.
Speed is unknown but I would guess in the 40's (mph)

Did the LVC kick in at the end? Looked like it did. 5S 1P or 2P

Nice Simon, glad you had some help on that one. Ya, it looks great, I can't help but wondering if she was working too hard... what was strut angle? maybe post up some pics or a little clip of the set up?

Great work, fun stuff bro!

How were temps after that session?

I'll see if I can answer all of the above questions.

It was deffo running wet and pushing the water, temps for the motor and esc were well up but not untouchable, packs were fine just warm.

The LVC did not kick in but the dog spun on the shaft is what caused the loss of drive at the end.

I need to get this one sorted with a 442 that I once had and then it will be nicer.
A lot more runs will be needed to get the strut set right.

Matt, if you come up here then you can film the big rigger. I would really like that !!

I could possibly do that, but not for a little while. Club Champs coming up on the 22nd and 23rd and I need to finish the setup of 3 boats for them so will be using all free time in the weekends to test at wattle downs or bruce pulman. Huge regatta happening if you get some free time to drive down, The SUHA Seafair trophy is being contested so there will be lots of 1/8 scale hydros to look at, along with our P Restricted Hydro and offshore, N2 Hydro and offshore. All the boats will come out of the woodwork.

Probably the biggest FE event in NZ this year. :thumbup1:

Sorry about the low quality but it was all my officer had on him when he arrived.
A bit choppy so it was trimmed for the windy conditions.
All went weel except at the end when I lost a shaft :cursing: Nice outrunner spool down sound though right at the end.

Enjoy
