I have been taking care of the toy boat for the racer Rick Bowling that owns the real Gone again race boat. Some of you would know it as the Jelly Belly boat on the offshore circut. It was built by Chris F years ago. I am switching the motor over from a gear drive 2280 10T on 8S1P to the Little Screamer motor. this boat is a Aeromarine 45 inch cat. It will not be a lot of work , But a bit of testing the motor prop and cell setup.

Well this build turns out to be a report on testing of the Little Screamer out runner on 8S1P. This motor pushed a 45 inch cat 37MPH on that power for about 2 minutes. A total sport setup. Kinda cool!

Oh ya I was using a old Hacker 77HV esc. to run the boat.

what MAH batts were you using for only getting 2 minutes of runtime? and what prop were you running? I am considering putting this motor in my 44" team america cat on 10s since I burnt up a scorpion 4035 on its maiden and took out the esc and lipos with it!

I was using two 4S1P 5000Mah batteries and the prop was a X447 I think some ware about there, it could have been a X450. I checked a while ago and I forgot exactly.

Interesting. Tell us more. Did the esc blow or what? Only a 77Amp esc? If that holds up on that motor and 8S, that is phenomenal.

I have a motor on the way and a 42" Hurricane hull. Anxious to hear all your results!

It ran for about 2 minutes no problems at all. It was in the hands of a novice. He was stopping and starting every turn. It ate a lot of the energy becuse of the way he was driving on a little pond.
I was going to take a video but forgot.
