Sorry guys, wanted to photo the whole build but got caught up in building and next thing I know I was done. The build took 2 days Total in hours. Paint job (which gonna be redone) took 1 day while at work(hehe). Powered by 3 different motors, 6xl w/240, 13xl w/120, and a Lehrner w/240. The Lehrner was making it come off the water so I think that motor will take a rest. Then there is the rest of the fleet, A Hydro Lifter, A SuperVee. Gonna use the Lehrner in my Vegas but thats another liftime. :D

Hey Mr Mauian - nice build!

Tell me is the mean machine heavy?

Please read my "Here Kitty Kitty" thread! Thanks!

The MM is a nitro layup so it is heavier than most FE cats of similar size, I can't remember what it weighed bare hull and hatch but probably between 1.5 and 2 lbs. I consider that a positive when trying for high speeds - I've busted up an H&M Supercat by crashing on a 70- mph pass. Weight is no longer the problem it used to be with today's LiPo weight and power, and we will be looking at heavier boats just to stay on the water, or to survive a blow-off or crash. Why add lead when we can have a stronger but heavier hull?

4 lbs. 14.8 oz. She is heavy and thats without my lipo's in it. But She runs very stable and smooth on a 13 xl w/ 2 lipos @ 7.4 volts ea. A little faster than SV. I also ran a 6xl and it was crazy fast, I think for handling wise I will run a 8 xl. I don't have a gps(brand new to davey jones locker)so speeds will be hard to determine I'll post a video of today's run with the 8xl as soon as I finish work.:D
