can i charge lipo batteries with a nimh charger?

NO

Only charge lipo's with lipo rated chargers. You can get a charger that does both, but if your charger is only rated for nimh/nicad DO NOT use it on with lipos. Im stressing with bold because this could cause a fire/damage or hurt someone.
