You have to be careful. Those two program cards are NOT interchangeable. The Turnigy you refer to is made by Hobbywing and uses the box. The other one somebody showed is for their aircraft esc's only. I have verified that with the factory.

You have to use the BOAT faceplate in the zip file. The Boat esc's program differently than Cars, etc.

Im installing my turnigy 120 marine esc in my rigger. It has a little magnet near the reciver plug that the wire is looping thru. Are you guys leaving the magnet on or taking it off ?.

LEAVE IT ON THERE! It's a ferrous iron ring. It reduces glitching and interference to your radio! It's on there for a reason. Otherwise why would the manufacturer put it there?

I believe this is a choke. A sort of 'filter' between the ESC and rx.

EXACTLY! Some receivers are ultra sensitive. If you took yours off and it didn't change anything, then your receiver tolerates it just fine. The manufacturer of that ESC is very conscientous and quality oriented...more than any other I have ever known.

For a better understanding of its use, Google it (Electrical Choke). They are used in almost all electrical circuitry i.e. stereo components/TV's/computers etc.
