ABSOLUTELY! I'd feel a lot safer, even though he was a fiscal Liberal. I suppose that's better than a fiscal Socialist any day.

The guy spent us to death but the policies he put in place did seem to geared towards our safety. Our present group will still spend to death but wants to have a pajama party with people that hate us and will never see different. So as much as it kills me, ya I miss him at this point.

its funny...I used to hate that Cowboy
one of the main reasons I disliked him was I felt he treated our troops and soldiers coming home like *!***!***!***!**

after a year of BO I would take GB back any day

I don't miss him. I don't care what party he's from. I don't miss his cavalier ways of running this country. Bad government is bad government regardless of who is in office.

Well, you won't miss BO either then, Dom.

Don't know yet. So far I'm not impressed. But I'm not going to prejudge his presidency like so many others, based on the mindless bantering of a bunch of media hyenas.

It's all everyone's fault, George Carlin gave the best advice... be a spectator in this political hog-fest. stupidity is an innate trait in this region of the globe.Three M's are king; Make-up, Muscle and Money.

Well its been said good things come from even the worst news. And that just happens to be true with the start of this thread. What started as a parting shot to President Bush and or his memory, and I really dont care of your motive, out came some outstanding information about the lies and motives in moving to our new administration. No,......I have not researched the links but no matter. A finger is being pointed and it may point the way or enlighten any who seek the Global affairs. Dont go weird on us and suggest its a right wing conspiracy. Too weak and told to many times to have any merit or truth.

Now you disagree? Great! Try opening the a window in your house and scream your lungs out about how subversive the right is. How unfair they characterize the greedy no matter what party is screwing over the average American citizen. At what point do you have to stop and realize no administration or party really wants to save the common person. Both parties are lower the whale sheet at the bottom of the ocean.

Should we shift over to the Tea Party Movement and let both them know we wont take this abuse anymore?

Everyone will miss Bush once Obama's term is over. In my opinion Obama should have been a motivational speaker not a president... so yeah, i vote YES!

Interesting reads. Kind of makes you think....that we are all just pawns in a global game of chess.

Good share Dom. What a commentary on the source of revenue to pay our debts! I thought I knew how much the working man contributed but sort of had it bass ackwards. Corporate taxes are less then 14 percent of the total tax paid revenue? There is something very wrong with that number at many levels. How are they getting away with this? There must be something I am missing from the big picture. It just sounds so one sided.

I'm no accountant, but in my corps, they pay very little taxes. The profits are spread to the shareholders which pay the taxes on the personal tax returns.

It looks more and more like the government has been finding new and creative ways to enslave us all. Sharecropping on a grander scale.
