ANYONE RUNNING A DF 35 HULL? I GUESS I WAS LOOKING FOR SOME GPS NUMBERS FOR DIFFERENT SETUPS...I WANT CONSISTENT 60MPH PLUS..I AM TEMPTED BY THIS CASTLE 1717 ON 6S BUT I AM UNSURE IF IT WILL DO IT:confused1: ANY THOUGHTS OR RECOMMENDATIONS WOULD BE COOL...CYA

YOU GOT ME EXCITED WITH YOUR RUNS WITH THE RICO...MAYBE I AM UNDER ESTIMATING THE POWER OF THESE MOTORS 70 MPH WOULD BE TOO MUCH FOR MY DRIVING SKILLS:eek:..HAHA

I am going to wait for this hifei swordfish 240hv that steven is bringing in..looks like a good alternative to my hydra 240 that i cannot get working..

I think you and i must think alike! I've been eyeing that bad boy too. Did Steven give a price yet? Not sure i wanna try 6s on my lv 240.

Have not seen the price yet..even if its 250.00 i would try it over these hydras at this point in time..

Have you had a chance to put the rico in some choppy conditions? Curious to see how that hull goes in the rougher stuff...i have read a few posts and people say its great..u would know for sure now

Oh great..now i have to wish mine is going to come out just as good!!! The only thing i could do to even get in the ballpark to your builds peter is to buy another one of your mounts...besides that it will never happen..haha thats going to be awesome..sweet schulze too..i would think a 1527 will do mid sixties with ease..are u going to mount your lipos in the rear this time?

Thanks Aaron , the batteries will be in the middle on this build . Have you built yours yet or how far have you got

Just bought the hull today off ose in white and a stinger drive but thats it..i will probably buy another mount off you in the near future..the last one i got was great..lightyears ahead of what is availiable out there..worth the price tenfold

Peter is there any advantage to your battery placement this time? I suppose having the space to move lipos around could be adventageous

No not really I would rather them in front of the motor but the way the stringers are cut it won't allow that . So I just got to suck it up and make the best of it . I suppose as long as the CG is at the 30% to 33% either way it should still work great

he should build a brown tri hull with a bow rider..the problem is it would still come out looking sweet
