I don't understand why you guys are so surprised... Republican's, and Conservatives, have been agreeing that something needed to be done about Healthcare in this country all along... The disagreements are in HOW the Dems are going about it and attempting to implement it...

I'm not surprised at all at this.

Like Dennis Miller said the other day: "It's time to let the Adults back to the table. The kids have been in control for a year, and now there is speghetti on the walls and things are a mess... time to let the Adults take control again...."

Well, at least is seems we agree that the Kids are currently running the show... :thumbup1:

And that they've made an even bigger mess... More blood has been spilled, and right here on US soil... I know I'm celebrating... :glare:

But, I'm sure I'm about to hear "It's Bush's fault"... which of course, is an original thought that all you on the left came up with all on your own... no help from Oberman or Mathews or Obama or Pelosi or Reid... None at all... :sarcasm1:

It is sort of amusing that I do not recall anyone on the right having any issues with blaming everything on Clinton. BTW I think Rush and Sean and Savage and so on beat this drum since we are being critical of original thoughts.

But as is usual for the GOP "That's Different". The right is all about do as we say, not as we do.

Gingrich can schtump a young hottie while his wife is dying of cancer, no worries.
Sanford sneaks off to South America to have an affair, no worries.
Ensign's family pays off his former mistress to keep quiet. No problem.

Edwards has an affair and Katie bar the barn!!

Vitter can frequent prostitutes and get a standing ovation from his peers.
Spitzer does it and is unfit for office and must resign.

Bush pisses away a record surplus and runs up a record deficit and it is no problem.
Obama adds to it and the world is coming to an end.

Bush started TARP. That's OK, it was needed.
Obama keeps it going and he is a Socialist.

Oh well, how true it is that the more things change the more they stay the same.

I am surprised. If this guy goes belly up on national health care at this present time there will be pissed off people from coast to coast. Health care is the ONLY reason he is in that seat.

Please understand, I too would like to see a health care system put in place, but I feel with the economy the way it is, its the exact wrong time.

Obama "adds to it"??? He freaking has TRIPPLED IT!

You may need to examine a few of the facts behind the "WHY"s here...

You might also want to examine exactly where that "surplus" that Clinton had came from...

Well... we'll have to keep the e-mails and phone lines loaded up then to make sure these people stay on the straight and narrow... ;)

He IS from Mass., however, so people had to have known he wasn't THAT conservative...

Are you insane! It was not OK that bush started TARP! He started down this road, Obama is taking the expressway. Neither is right!

I think Bush and Obama do not control the economy. It is more likely to dictate what they have to react to. Bush blew a lot of money, he was wrong to do it. Obama is blowing more, he is wrong to do that. Wow, they both suck, how about that! I think Bush sucks less, but that is not a great endorsement! (did I just say bush sucks less?!?!?)

I see a pattern. Someone mentions Obama, someone else brings up Bush. Then Clinton comes in, then the next Bush. Reagan gets dragged in but it is usually brief before we hit Carter. After that, most of us do not remember. hell, bring FDR and wilson into it, gets really scary. Been going on for years boys....

As far as sex scandals go, you could sink this sites band width with either party....

Dont even go there. You want facts on politicians we could go high order on the Dems. The list of immorality commited by them is astronomical. I noticed you didnt even mention Bill Clintons Affair in 2008 while his wife was running for the Vice Presidents seat. Thats not opinion. Thats a fact. How many affairs Bill?

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-508015/Hillarys-humiliation-How-swept-Bill-Clintons-affairs-carpet.html

So Tiger gets blown out of the water after 5 years of lieing about infidelity, many women come forward and he's bad PR material for his sponsors. He"s unpopular as a role model and needs to go to rehab? Do you see the hypocracy?

You reading Bill? Where the hell is this one sided? Its about power,.......from those who are delusional. All of them. Not Dem's, not Rep's. All of them.

I guess people miss the title of the thread. I thought this was about Brown. So I'm going to resolve it here. Obama and Bush are having an affair. They are just using Haiti as a cover 'cause they can no longer hide their true feelings. They are coming out of the oval office and you can't stop 'em. :ThumbsDown01:

I said it before and I'll say it again. The old blame game. Come on, you can do better.

And again, this is not the "blame game". That is the GOP response whenever they do something that they vilified the left for doing. You are masters at it. I never said that what the left guys did (affairs, etc.) was acceptable. I just pointed out the ongoing hypocrisy of the right in ONLY pointing out when the left does something.

Again, Vitter sees hookers, no problem. Spitzer does the EXACT SAME THING and the right goes berserk! And on and on and on.

Latest, the right is ALWAYS spewing forth about "activists judges". Which turns out to be any judge that does something they do not like. But when the SCOTUS envicerates the campaign finance reform that will allow large companies to spend money on campaigns like a drunken sailor, not one peep. THAT'S Different.

Isn’t it always?

All I ever ask is consistency. If a guy has an affair he sucks. But to you guys it's OK for Vitter, Gingrich, Sanford, Giuliani, MCain and so on to do what they want. But when Edwards, Clinton, Spitzer, etc. do it, well, THAT'S different.

What makes it worse is all the "family values" BS they spew while screwing around on their wives and families. At least most on the left refrain from the utter hypocrisy of that behavior.

And then, when confronted with the blatant hypocrisy that is the GOP you guys pull the "blame game" BS. It's wearisome.

Where is the dem list?

I've Been looking...I guess I need to search under bribery. It would make sense. Since the Republicans claim to fame is family values, sexual deviance would be their Achilles Heel. So for the Democrats, Bribery would be fitting because they claim to be the saviors of the poor( common man) where as I think their saving themselves.
