SpdMaster 21 strut and sport 20, whats the diff??

I see physical differences between the 2 but, what is the design or running difference???
It looks like I have a Mono version strut on my Whiplash, 21 that is....

can someone explain please?

Ray,

They both use the same brass bearing/bushing but the 21 strut is flush with the back edge of the vertical extension to the transom mount brackets, where as the 20 strut sticks out rearward, I.E. past this vertical extension, by about 1/4". Not sure if this is self explanatory. Both are about the same length, its just one sits slightly rearward if you align the vertical extensions.
