Next - Graupner 820 Z Drives

We have 2 820 Z Drives by Graupner.

A little history on these drives... they were sold to me as new but were far from it, they will each need the 2 new rubber seals! It is my understanding that they are available from a Graupner Distributor!

I was thinking about mounting both of them on a mean machine but went in a different direction!

I'm asking $80 each or $150 for both!

What size bushless motors will these take? I have a Dumas Scarab 377, do you think both of these would be able to power it with the right motors?

While I would like to say yes --- I don't know! I am not familar with that hull and after being hosed when I bought these I do not want to hose anyone else!

Which one is that? I have a 30" scarab, a 40" scarab and the 54" scarab from Dumas. I think the 30" was the 377.

Yes, it's the 40" fiberglass. I use to run it in another life with an OPS 45 nitro, then put a K&B 7.5 outboard on the back and now I want it FE. It has a great custom paint and those outdrive would look really sweet!:buttrock:

I put the radar arch on the other direction as I thought it looked cooler back then.

Well, this is a thread hijack, sorry about that.

Interesting as that is not a 377 scarab. the 377 was wellcraft's attept to make it more livable for cruising. It was actually a really nice layout. The deck was not flat, but lifted some for more headroom. It had two hatches, inline down the center. The stainless railings were down each side on the front of the boat. The cockpit had both bolsters to the right as shown, but behind the bolsters was a bench seat that stretched in a U shape from the seats to the starboard side to the back. The hatch was flat with cushions for laying on. boat also had a windshield on it that worked, but was not straight across if I remember correctly.

Spent some time working on one back in the late 80's for my boss and going for rides in lake Michigan. Nice boat.

The model is still nice, but more like the 38kv.
