This is the first I have seen it ... but I did notice that the Shrink rap will have to be cut as it covered the water cooling.

NICE...looks like 4 caps installed...maybe just two. To be programed by a computor it must come with software and maybe USB cable.

I see that USB link is optional:

A company dumb enough to cover up the water fittings with the shrink wrap would not make me comfortable using their stuff!

I've had to cut back the shrink wrap on all of my Castle Hydra esc's. Although not completely covered by shrink wrap, not enough of the aluminum water tube was exposed.

I pointed that out to Patrick at the CC booth at RCX some time ago. He said he'd address it. :roflol:

^^^^^^^^^^^^Ha ha I was thinking the same thing. Not to mention, try installing lines on the 240 esc's.

Price is great, nice to see more esc's coming out and prices going down. BTW Ditto on the CC shrink wrap.

I've had to trim back the Etti 150's shrink wrap also.

This new ESC looks a lot like the Swordfish that Steven posted.

I just got a new 240 also and neither size tubing that I got from OSE seems to be able to fit. The tubes are too close together. What is the secret?

And......back to this post. At least a program module! the shrinkwrap???...I think I can handle that mod.

I usually use saliva lube and slide both lines on at the same time. You can also use a small screwdriver or allen wrench and slide it in the tube and carefully pry them apart.

its very easy but be very carefull

slid something into the tubes (the same size as the inside diameter of the tube) and very carefully bend it to the side just slightley

if you were to mark them 1 2 3 4

bend 1 and 2 to the left and 3 and 4 to the right.....you dont need much bned to be able to slide the fuel tubing on so bend very little its easy

For the watercooling tubing I used silicone lube spray on both the pipes and the tubing, worked a treat, was really struggling with them prior to that.

I'm not too crazy about having just one water tube along one side - like the Etti 150A non-opto (w/bec). Just doesn't seem like it will be as efficient as two - how many cents would another tube have cost them? It cost Etti another repair when mine fried a while back. Methinks they should go back to two tubes like on their opto model.
