Just for fun, let's see your RC10 Pan cars... If you could, please list exactly which model it is... I'm not sure what mine are, so if someone could please tell me, I'd appreciate it...

Here is the Stiletto I was working on... It's ready to play with, as soon as my ESC arrives...

Next to it is my RC10L??? oval car.... I need to get a servo saver for the steering, and another ESC, and mount a motor in it, and it'll be ready as well... I may look into the local racing rules to find out what is legal, but am thinking of putting a 19T spec motor in it... Otherwise, might just be a 27T Stocker...

Have three bodies for the Oval car as well... a Chevy, Ford, and a Dodge....

I've never run any of this, except for a few minutes last night prior to burning up my ESC... but it should be fun!

Let's see YOUR RC10's!!

I've never seen a pan car in person, does it have suspension in the front or is it rigid?

The early one were solid... but these ones have small springs in the front...

A few guys raced these around a track (not oval) at a club I race. They are scarily fast!

Here's a classic I've been slowly restoring. I think its an RC100 or RC250.. Originally powered by a .19 Vector, it now sports a Nova .21 (which Im guessing 30 years ago, they didnt anticipate this much power being put in one, so the plastic spur gear was immediately stripped).

Bad mesh, not the spur. Unless the spur was old. Plastic spurs on metal clutchbells work perfectly well, metal on metal gears strip easily

No, it had proper mesh. I think the plastic was just rotted. The spur also doubles as the brake, and Im sure after alot of racing, the heat just makes them brittle. Unfortunately that has been my hold up on this project, trying to find a replacement spur. I was thinking about having one machined..

Not electric but here's my Thunder Tiger TS4n-V2 I bought on a trip to Taiwan.
It's belt driven 4WD with a .12 motor that I converted to a drifter with drift tires, locked diffs, sway bars, and I cheated and put in a Futaba gyro for automatic counter-steering.

My other car is an electric HPI Super F1 the first car they made back in 92. I used to race it indoor on carpet and it was a blast. Hooking up with the right foam tires was big on carpet, different foam compounds, tire truing machines and combo's of traction fluid compounds.

Ah, carpet racing. I do 1/18 offroad now... too much fun. Lrp Shark, Novak Mongoose 10.5, Tekin RS, Hyperion lipo, too many mods to count and Futaba 4PK. I'll have to get some pics, it's a huge class here and growing!

The 1/18 and Traxxas Slash is pretty popular here too. But the biggest thing seems to be crawlers, I don't get it myself but to each his own.
I've got an old Losi mini xt maybe time to energize it.

I've got an old RC10L. Bought it 2nd hand - it was an original version, but the chassis had been trimmed down and the hubs drilled out to save weight.

I added the Dynamic Strut front end, the carbon wings to protect the rear axle and dyed the nylon parts black. The body is a Protoform Nissan P35. It's not pretty as the body is race-worn and the car has been sitting under a bed for years. But she was fast in her day!

Right on! I put the Oval car above up for Sale on E-Bay yesterday, and am keeping the other one around to dink around with... though I may try to find another road-race chassis so I'll have two again. Just more fun for the kids when they don't have to take turns.

I have to be careful.... I get addicted to buying up parts if I'm not careful!

That looks like my old 70s Associated 1/8th pan car. I'll see if I can get a pic later. I ran a Veco .19
