A lot of my racer buddies ask how my Eliminator is doing, so I thought I'd share.
We had a hydraulic lifter fail, so I opted with a full roller motor. In this phase we installed a comp cams roller cam with Howards roller lifters and pushrods. We had to use different springs as well

Tony my man, I think that'd be a SPLENDID idea! A chick magnet with Tony the lady's man as the captain Wow!! We'd be unstoppable! We'd end up on TMZ or some other tabloid lol

So Cal is the place for boating hands down..

You're right Tone.. I've got a wimpy top end on that motor a 950 carb on an edelbrock victor jr is cool and all, but I'd love a blower or even a tunnel. I was advised not to go with a tunnel because it tends to lean out #1 and 2 pistons

No more excuses, once I see this motor is bulletproof, I'll bolt on a blower. I've got forged pistons and a moly crank with a 4-bolt main so it should hold

Yup, tunnels don't have a lot of intake velocity to the individual runners at low rpm. Nothing like getting [wink wink] blown !

Well guys the motor got hoisted in, but I've got more work being done, I need a puke tank, and a bit more trick rigging..
We all know how I feel about strong/lightweight fasteners on my boats..

This motor has very low KV lol

How many times has Tony told you to not use those 4-40 stainless bolts to support that motor, you need at least 10-32 hardware!:sarcasm1:

WOW man. When I was a kid we lived in Arkansas for a couple years. I used to see boats like that on Beaver lake all the time. Big huge blown V8s in little 15 foot boats. Can you say nuts...... Brings me back...lol

That was my very reason for getting this boat. When I was a kid, my father and I fished religeously and boats like that flying by scared me but thrilled me at the same time.

I saw one fly by, and something registered.. I was in love. I vowed I'd be behind the wheel of one of these fast fire breathing dragons.

Don't feel bad, these death traps require constant maintenance. I get tempted to say to heck with it and grab a nautique or some sort of family boat. Reliable..

Yeah, they're probably willing to practically GIVE 'em away in this economy and during the winter..

There are some pretty good deals on perfomance boat forums under boat spam.
I'm going for an eliminator 19ft daytona next or a v-drive
