COG for the Maritimo , Between 34cm , 36cm from the transom . My Simrad twin runs on 34.5 cm. Just make sure you leave yourself room where the lipos go for fine tunning . Bonewar :rockon2::rockon2:

Thanlks BW but is that measurement taken from the transum at the rudder or the stingers?

Should be from sponson transom. I run mine around 33% from that point. I can't remember measurement but I know I started at the normal 30% and she tried to lift on me.

Brod well as you can see I am guilty of being very very impulsive buyer AND seller

I have an addiction of not being able to pass up a good deal.......I have about 6 projects going....I was working on the falcon and along comes this deal on a martimo that was a abandon build

how could I pass this up

Have a look at the canopy , you will see 2 small highrised hatches next to the side windows , middle to back of these hatches is where you want the COG to be. I measured from the top side of the boats transom not the rudders transom as i cut mind off for the new steering gear. Bonewar :rockon2::rockon2:

I dig those checker graphics! For a budget build I bet twin UL-1 motors/esc's on 4s each would rip! Got a chance to run the sprintcat the other day. Ran for about 2 mins on a m445 and it was waaaaay faster than I thought! Problem is that the somehow the motor (a brand new Feigao 580) Heated waaaaay up and de-magged. I think it was a lemon motor somehow. Steven's gonna hook me up and get it warrantied for me though. That dude is great!

sweet Rummy how did she feel?

well this is def a budget build......I happen to have two ul-1 setups I may try....I have 1 feigao 11xl 1557kv I wanted to try two of those on 6s simon did the math for me...... he said maybe 60 mph

OH yeah, 2 11xl's on 6s would rip! If It was me, I'd try the UL-1 setup first since you've got it. It may surprise you. The sprintcat was awesome! cornered so good, I didn't push it too much, only ran a couple mins. It tended to porpoise a little till about 3/4 throttle, then at wide open she was glued! Looked like easily mid to upper 50's! Can't wait to throw in a new motor and do some prop testing!

hey bustitup you probably already know but just thought i would mention the sv27 struts have a tapered bracket that off sets the prop on the sv27, the original owner may have already sanded them flat.
