Thanks I have the 3300KV motor and my prop was 31.5mm the esc ws 79deg and motor bairly over 100 deg but my 3S battery got hot 130 to 135deg but i ran it till 3.4 lipo cut off...I am going to grind a cf prop down to 30mm or 29mm it will make the battery run cooler ... and you never know it could get faster also.
If it don't work out well i could just run it a min or so less and it should be ok.

sounds a little odd to me that your esc is cold and your motor warm but your battery is hot?

take temps 2 minutes in. If the batt is cool, youre prob running too long.

Yes most likely but i am going to try the new 29mm prop and see how that goes...it may cavatate to much and if that happens back to 31mm and just time my run until lipo cut off comes on and subtract a min and i think i will be good.

Z28,

Glad to see that it is running good! Those Apache's can be fun once you get them moving twice the stock speed or better.
How is it turning for you under power? I am supposing a lot better than with the outdrive doing the turning. I know mine was hooking badly before I went to the separate rudder. I think I may need to trim a little of the bottom of my rudder, because it is pulling a little to the right when going straight, and I think it may be the extra drag of the long rudder.
Have fun with the fine tuning!:rockon2:

Hi Brad that is funny I was thinking my steering rudder was to long for this boat also...It turns nice i guess but i feel it may be better shorter?
See the photo in the apache part on the board ..first picture on my brushless post.
Feels to me like the rear of my boat sticks in like a slot car in a slot.

Nice vid (I gave you a 5/5 ). Could you post up some good pics of it inside and out? I am trying to help my brother convert his Apache and it's already gutted, just looking for a little inspiration on a few things.
