Approx 4 MPH. My test was around 4MPH differnce between 6 and 7 packs. There is a but.. you really should beef up the cooling and change the radio to run the 7 cell deal. Good six cell packs are really plenty fast but there is a noicable differnce on 7 cells.

I run my 7 Cell IB3600 BattlePacks with no problems what so ever to date. Temps avarage 110 on the motor and 120 to 125 on the packs. All this on a 45mm cf prop. It's been cold here so lets se what summer brings. Another thing to take into consideration...I don't care about cooking the motor or esc...Just gives me a reason to upgrade. I do how ever care about over heating the batteries.

Well like I said beef up the cooling, use the OSE water jacket, open all the fittings and the pickup. Watch your temps on everything because your pushing the envelopes. I dont peak the 7 cell pack either. Dont over prop. I charge the pack then I let them set for a hour or 2. All I run is 7 cells in the ICE Rocket and I have no problems so far. Knock on wood! I have stock motor and esc drive cable etc. Cooling is worked and rudder lowerd 1/4 inch, and went to a PM3radio. A nice wax job and thats about it... hehhe It works for me...

I run the following OSE hopups. WaterJacket, drive cable, propshaft, drivdog combo, tabs and bulkhead fitting. I didn't open up the cooling because IMO the jury is still out on that one. Next winter I'm refitting the boat with Feigao power and SpeedMaster hardware.

I watched my temp change a lot as the water warmed up in the pond. I was seeing high 90's and thought what are these guys talking about but the pond was 48. When the pond got close to 70 I see 120's on the Rocket, but less on the stock boat running 6 cells, like 105-110. Your water up there is still real cold, you may see more temp when it warms up. I just read all the posts on RCU and decided to do it. I am happy I did because I relax a little more knowing its done.

i got the jacket, cable drivedog... and am adding cooling to it.. i will be putting on the trim tabs from the v24 just for the motor, and using the rudder pick up for the esc... then i may do something for the batterys.. but not to sure yet

I'll go with a second propwash pick up if I see a jump in temps. Pop in another bulk head fitting and cool the motor and esc in seprate systems.

I almost dropped the Sony Cyber shot camera I use in the drink last shoot. It's MrsSJFE's favorit xmass present from this past season. I would have been on the coutch...maybe in my car for quite a long time for that one.
