how the heck do you work on the inside of this thing!!!
I hate when they make boats like this!
It looks nice though hope they make a biger version!

Same thing I thought, I guess it's a disposable boat. The large version is suppose to have a tub like hull, like the UL-1.

I really like the wildcat but like you guys, I dont think there is enough room to do any type of work (MODIFICATIONS).

It has the same watertight type covers as the mini rio. shouldn't be too big a deal.

you wont be disappointed with the renegade, probably would be bored of the wildcat after a day

I thought boats dont run very good unless the props counter rotate ??? Could some one please explain ??

My last project went mach 3.1 until it glitched http://www.rockethigh.com

Has any one here built a dual motor boat using the same rotating props ??? Did it work ??? I am frustrated !!! I thought dual engine boats used counter roating props ???
Some one please

they do, this boat is just so low powered that it wont matter to not have the counter rotation

Anybody has one? Thinking about getting one of these for my daughter.

I had a Mini LST2 that I changed out the esc and used a decent 10th scale esc and ran the truck on 3s with the stock motors and that little truck moved very well.
IMO just as fast as some have gone using brushless on 2s but much cheaper
so maybe the same mod on this could wake it up! :thumbup1:

Anyone notice how the hatch magnet is on the front? I don't think that was a positive change in design. Not a big deal with the stock power plant (guess @ 8mph) but mod her for brushless counter rotating, and you may loose the top easily.
just a thought...

its gonna have to be cut out and taped to modify these things at all. the must have been assembled before the hull was joined.

I don't see a magnet, looks more like two pins and a latch

You're right. I found & posted that while driving, so I couldn't stare at it too hard

Could you swap wires on one motor to get it to counter rotate using the stock speed controller ??? Or would the stock controller burn up ??? Or not spin one motor backwards ???
What size prop are they running ???
Can you add a bit bigger battery ??? If all this is possible then the mini cat would shred !!!
Are there plans on building a bigger version ???

Has anyone experienced one motor stopped working?

We had three brand new ones ALL have this issue on the weekend 2x L/H & 1 x R/H with one of them being the local Hobby shop guys.

He suspects a bad batch & is going to send all of them back.

Cheers
