Yeah you really scared me doby, i thought for sure i would break a cable, so i had gotten two from ray for the race. Fuller was my pit man at the race-so lets just say all my boats ran perfect. Took 2 lso wins too and the last one i was in first and flipped

So what happens when you flip a BL motor into the water? Nothing?

After every heat spray with WD40, let it drain, then charge up the batteries for the next heat!!!

Nope, Oregon born. Just incorporate mannerisms I like from all parts, y'all. I did notice that after about 4 days in Vancouver I started pronouncing things a little different, like proh-ject, instead of prah-ject... I tend to acquire dialect and accents wherever I am at the moment.

its a guys camera named dave, i guess it had a $1700.00 lens on it- he said it was more than the camera itself

Nice boat. Sounds like a good setup too. I too one day will have a VS1 FE, one day I will.

Did I miss the video link?

Paul's boat is as impressive as Dave's camera (not me, another Dave). The lens was 4X the cost of the body, and it zoomed to 400. I just don't remember what make it was.

It was a good club run in Az...we haven't had an organized club run in quite some time now and it's good to have new members in the mix. OPC/LSO ran that day.

It's 'cuz I wasn't in the mix! I was somewhere screwing around in lane 12 or something.

May I ask what prop your club members are using on your tunnels?

Mine is a back cut and de-tongued X442, UL-1 motor on a TS-2 hull. Pat was running an SV27 motor on his, and I'm not sure on the prop.

I've seen X440/3, X537/3, X442 and X445's work very well on the Spec OPC's.

Okay thanks for the info, I've been running the X442 on my VS-1 with UL-1 motor and ESC and having good results. I think I'll stick with that setup.

Good job, Paul ! I may have to hit the next race in AZ to give you some competition  [ I've been using, at Brian's recommendation, a Grim 42/55
de-tounged & mildly cupped with the UL-1 motor ; will try a hub-cut 442 this weekend].
