Yea it took a while to get it all sorted out so the batts would fit but it runs great. It can run faster but its real light and gets to crazy........Thanks Rumdog and Lipo Power

thanks guys. I really built this so that i would have a boat to enjoy and not put pressure on myself like my SAW hydro does. That thing drives me insane trying to run it over 100mph and keep it on the water. Plus I really dont need much room to run it anywhere and its quiet.

Great vid and tight runner! beautiful back drop and perfect lake, only missing some buoys...

I just love these hulls, realistic and they are pretty dang stable at speeds (at least my speeds). Lets see if we can break 60mph... (mine's at the same speed yers is, too close to 60 to not shoot for it).

Very nice! Umm its not water tight though..? How do you keep your components dry?

was wondering the same thing. even with my subhatch it ain't water-TIGHT. I see Jabber has a radio box, but to get your COG far enough forward... This is one of the biggest problems with these great looking/performing boats. I guess, just don't flip it:w00t:

My radio box is totaly water proof. I sealed it up and have nver gotten one drop of water in it. As far as where the batts and motor are it will get some water but it never hurts anything. I have run 62mph with a 7 xl but it was to squirly and used more power for a shorter run time so i decided it wasnt worth the headach. Right now its a perfect balance of speed and run time. HMMMMM I think i might try 22 volts and see what happens LOL . Just ONE TIME I SWEAR !!!!!!!!

Ditto; As long as they dry out afterwards, all works well!!!!!

Yes, must have patience, I consider it my punishment for getting them wet. Remove wrapper, set on a sham-wow and don't touch for a day or so. better yet, in the sun or blown dry.

Boat went two back to back 59.1mph runs tonight and is still nice and stable. I think i will leave it right there!!!

OH BOY...so i go to the kake today to try a modded prop . Boat doesnt change much in the speed and goes 57.0mph but is a little more smoother. So i think to myself "I wonder what 22 volts would do instead of 15 volts". Boat was a rocket and went consistent 70mph!!!! I will post a video soon. Here i go again. LOL !!!!!

Tony, you are a trooper, Jan will fix that SMALL problem with the ESC by sending an epistle to Joe Ford and stating this man has done a heck of a lot of promoting for your products and a replacement at no cost would be appreciated.

My day went well . Did not pass 70 but decided to leave it a mid 60+mph boat. It started blowing over and fliping at 70 and i dont need another boat like that so at 60+ it always comes back to me. On the other hand the ESC i waited for went up in smoke trying to program it on the bench in my Yellow SAW hydro. I was really disapointed and now im waiting yet again. I really need to try a cheapo esc and see what happens. Anyhow im pretty sure i can fix your smoked ESC. A little solder and JB weld and she will be as good as new!!! LOL. Douggie......that smoke from the train scares me, it lokes like mine and Propercopper's Hydras on a fast pass . LOL { And cry at the same time}...Good Times !!!!

My FE Vegas likes to run perfectly propped down in the mid-fifties. Propped up to 60 she gets squirrely, so I'm leaving well enough alone. The H&M's a different story; modded sponsons & all, I'll be pushin' it up.

I'm trying out the Seaking 180 - 180 A continuous, 360A burst claimed. $115 bucks with programming box, shipped. [Sailr on this board sells them]. We'll see, since CC claims, every time I call them, " Oh, a few weeks on 240's" :blah::blah:

Gary

Let me know for sure!!! That 360 amp burst seems a little wild !!!!!!Turnygy also has a 200 amp esc that handles 2-12 s for 190.00 with no water cooling and is a pretty big unit but for a SAW run that would probably be ok with no cooling i think. I would really like to see some 108-110 mph passes with my hydro before the water gets hard.
