if theya re in stock, that's outrageous, if they are back ordered then it's something to cope with... like I did. I sent them an email every week to make sure that they knew I was still there, but in my head I had forgotten about it... ask them if they are in stock.

Contact the person you bought it from to get on them. If it was me, let me know? If not I'm sure the other place will help also.

Most of the time they are not worth the tech effort or time to work on them. They should be replaced.

Ray, updates? and I can not belive it takes this amount of time to manufacuture a new batch. I worked at a plant for CUSTOM and complex engineered packaging machinery... 3 to 6 months for delivery. Replacement parts the next day. As we had them in stock and always maintained those levels to support our customers

In certain circumstances of extreme long delays, you may want to ask this question. If its going to be much longer you might ask the dealer(if its in your budget), to buy another one and have Castle ship your new one directly to him. Upon receiving the new one from Castle, he refunds your money.

I tried that the day it fried. I am being told this is a "shortage" no 240HV available anywhere. this is what sucks, I went big, bought the best stuff money can buy I was told. and have yet to run a race do to my 2 ESC being no good. I understand things can go wrong. I don't understand the time it is taking castle to make this right. Sorry for the rant.

I had a Castle mamba monster (1/8th truck ESC) fail on me shortly after purchase. It took the entire summer to get it replaced. 9 weeks to be exact. Total drag.

I should ask, Do you have one? Can you get one? If so I would be interested in buying it.

This has been an issue with all ESC maufufacturers, at least Castle will give you the time of the day, it may be a long day but I perceive they will look after you. Those that had boom on inititial setup I feel your misery and Castle you do have a problem there. Those that abused their motors, ESC and batteries, you are on your own.

ICE ICE baby!
When I talked to Caslte last week they said that the Hydra Ice controllers were on the table. If they work anything like the Heli ESC's that I am using I will be all smiles.

I had the same thing happen to me. I sent back a brand new HV240 that smoked upon the second connection. Waited two months after they said that they would replace it. Kept getting the same excuse- "they will be in production next week". Finally, I talked to Kate in ordering and we worked a deal where they would replace the HV240 with a HV180 (in stock) and credit the difference against a repair of a LV240 that I had just sent. The HV180 was sent the next day.

Good Luck in getting a HV240 any time soon.

My season is over anyway so I hope they take 5 months to send my 240HV....hoping by that time the Hydra ICE HV controllers are out and I can make a deal on one of those instead.
