Not much difference between the real thing and the models, Crashes, flips, hitting markers etc .

Nice vid of a more simple time :)

Yea, I will see if I can talk our club members into installing JUMPS on the front and back straight aways!! :banana::rofl:

I love the way the guy talking describes the engine being built as "PUTT PUTTS".... Never heard that one before...

In the 60's I had a 10" 3 point hydro with a souped up highly modified Mercury 10HP. Damn near killed myself in the danged thing! Repaired it after a crash and sold it. That ended my full size boat racing. After that I went to motorcycles with a similar result. I then went exclusively to R/C. Crashing R/C airplanes and boats didn't hurt my body so much!

and funny at the same time.Where i come from(Puerto Rico USA) this little racing boats are/were called "zapatos","shoes" in english.When i was a kid they used to be raced everywhere yr round in the island.Now with all wildlife federal and state regulations they seem to be mostly banned as they are not seen that often.And i remember seeing some bad accidents during their races........thanks for sharing,Albert
