View Full Version : like to know a good boat for a 3000k brushless

just got a m-tronics brushless motor w/ esc . and just wanted to know what is a good boat for it? ive got a shockwave 26 coming but im sure it wont work . was looking at a graupner b-24 . is that a good setup . any info would be helpful to a newbie:confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:
Why don't you think it will work?

It depends on the size of the motor. If its an S or 540 car size the stock mount will work. A mod motor mounts a good idea for water cooling any way. Another mod would be a drive cable and universal joint.It will have to be beefed up. So happens I have the stock unit from the BlackJack in my parts box. I can help you out there. Other than that I am unsure. I have never seen the hull in person.

Do you have a link to the motor? What is the weight and size?

want to know cause shockwave drive comes through bottom of v hull . plus its a 55 size motor . but im not sure on the graupner b-24 . would love some input!!

just bought a graupner b-24 online @ diamond rc for 49. bucks

motor sounds like the 8l feigao(as far as size and kv are concerned), suggest 8 cells.
