OK so I'm on vacation. Game on. Tonight I got the transom doubler in. I used a peice of 3/16th ply incased in devcon. Next I Reinforced both sides with 1/64 birtch. Now I had already glassed the bottom with some fine cloth in 2ton devon. I laminated it again with the birtch. I will thin out some more epoxy tomorrow and coat the surface of all the wood again. To insure a good bond I stacked some packs in the boat as you can see. Next I will be reinforcing the center of the hull just above the hatch for the motor mount. After that I'll mount the Octura strut bracket and skeg strut (currently on the black jack) and aline, bend and epoxy in the stuffing tube. Once I have the drive line in The carbon fiber plate floor can go in. One thing is for sure it's now stiff as a board. I will have all day and night tomorrow to work undisturbed. Gota love it.

Tenergy = Junk!
I purchased a bunch of 6 cell packs at there dealer cost to resell. The 2000mah packs delivered were only 1000mah at 10-15 amps! There are better cheap packs out there.Steven Vaccaro

I agree with Steven on the Tenergy packs. None of them will hold more than 2800mah...Iv'e never even used them but for 3 days in my touring car. I use them in the tug...I am going to parallel them now beacuse they worry me on long distance recoverys.Comment

So far today
I rolled out of bed this morning and walked right down the stairs and plopped down in front of the boat. I had to pull the strut bracket off the Jack and clean it up first. After some prep work I lined up the strut and makrked off the mount holes. After I got it on It was out of square a tick. I pulled it and shimed it up. Shes right on the money now. Next was the motor mount alinment. I am headed back out now to thin some epoxy and brush all the wood down. After that cures I'll bend and set the stuffing tube. By tonight I should be ready to start messing with the esc, receiver and battery placment. Back to work.Comment

SJFE why do you thin regular epoxy ? they make thin type 2 part apoxy from thick to like water I used it a few times when a fiber glassed a air boat i made once.Comment

Moving along
The stuffing tube is curing into the hull now. I was suprised how eazy it was to aline and bend it. Believe it or not this is my first one. I have a couple hours to relax now. I will go cut the carbon fiber foor in a bit. If all goes well Ill have it 90% done by midnight or so. I'm keepin my fingers crossed.
