    just a question

    does anyone have problems with water leaking out of the silicone water jacket that comes with the sv??
    60% of the time... it works every time!

    I dont have an sv but i do have a silicon jacket on my boat. I just put a small bead of silicon around it and it seals perfectly.

      I have read that it's not unherd of on RCU. Get and ose jacket. They exchange heat better anyway.

        Take it off. Clean the motor housing with alcohol. Than apply a very thin coat of silicon sealant and slide the jacket on. Let it dry. But before all that the stock jacket has casting flashing inside that should be cut off before the install !
