    Blackjack26 / SV27 brushless set-up?

    Blackjack26 RTR $270.00 + SV27 BL power set-up $159.00 from OSE = $429.00 ??? A brushless 26" cat RTR for under $450.00? Is this possible? ...anyone want a .18 motor when I'm done?

I'm in the middle of converting a BJ-26 to DUAL brushless ( SV-27 Motors and speed controllers) , Have one set on hand from Offshore and another set on the way:D

Steve mentioned this should be a wild straightaway set-up with "interesting " turning characteristics.

Hope to have it in the water in 3-4 weeks.:p

    Pictures will be coming soon.

Piranha that engine is a .15. It's going to cost more than 450. Unless you want to keep buying ujoints you will need to unstall a strut and rudder.
Doby...thats bad @@S man. You may want to just install the rudder upside down...it's going to be in the air more than water anyway:D.

And the Caribbean cruiser DOES NOT like 14 cells....oops....try, try.....fail again !! So let's see.....#1 boat....thrown away, #2 boat.....thrown away, #3 boat.....sank, #4 boat....cooked a motor (or 2), #5 boat......fried 4 battery packs.....all 5 AM radios......5 runaways, is it me or ???? is this priceless stuff ????? Should I go nitro or better yet, sail power ????

Well, I only have $275.00 invested in all 5 boats....only one was used and ended up getting it for free.....and $390.00 in batteries and a charger.....so far, 2 good solid runs out of 20......$665.00 for 20 minutes....seems fair. I have to figure this out soon before it becomes a money pit !

The first thing I did after cooking 3 motors in a row was to stop spending money. The next thing I did was begin my education. Then I started spending money in the right places, well most of the time. I am at the point now where I know enough to make the realy big mistakes :D. My point is take a step back and decide what you want. 3 or 4 rtr sport boats or a single race quality boat.

I figure I'll keep smokin' the stock parts till they're gone and then have an excuse to hop them up and get more speed. The problem is I need to have 2 evenly matched boats so my boating buddy has fun too. Although he likes the crashes way too much.

I think your problem may be that your buddy needs to buy his own boat.

Yeah, he thinks rubbing is racing so we each have our scars.....lots of paint swapping.....he drives the Shockwave 26 with 7-cells and I drive the Caribbean Cruiser on 12 cells and twin 550's but with a Typhoon prop (slower, broke the stock one) so we are bow to bow......he wants 8 cells now......and I want 15 turn motors !!
