            well i ran it today......... no video yet sry i will have some by sunday........ first run was good but i noticed that i had the srut too deep top speed est about 30 with the super vee motor and esc..... went home did a few more mods to the drive and repeaked the batts.... major difference and its all dialed in..... runs flat and strait no porosing at all... 12 cell about 35 or so..... not too much different from the sv..... when i take video of it i will have the other motor and esc in it.... should be a lot faster.... also gonna run 16 cells..... all in all i would say my first build was a success.

                        Strut depth depends on the hull, motor, speed, prop. The baseline is usually found by:

                        * Setting the boat flat on a table
                        * Adjusting the strut to be flat and level on the tabletop.
                        * Rudder perpendicular to tabletop.

                        This should get you close, but you may find that a bit up or down will perform a bit better. CG placement also effects the strut setting, usually between 30-35% ahead of the transoms, not the extreme back of the boat.

                        .

                          ok yea right now i have it set where the middle of the shaft is even with the transoms i guess im pretty much on runs flat and stable

                              Grease! I learned this simple trick last month. I think everyone but me knew about it. I use the same grease that I use for my flex cable. Works great, really great. went from about a table spoon or two in the hull after every run to virtually a drop or two.
