The Titan was my first build and I LOVE it. The Titan was a FUN and EASY build (both times). Do your self a favor and buy one new and BUILD IT!!!! You won't regret it, I promise.

It woll cost you but it will come out probably about the same as buying one right out. IMO, Don't buy a FDM Titan. I tell you this because my original Titan was built by my but exactly like the FDM setups. It ran well, about 28 - 31. I saw another one run that has my exact motor and it was twice the boat the FDM set up was. Look at my album on the OSE Gallery.. Better yet look here http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/showthread.php?t=37

Post #19 and #21 That is before and after of my Titan.

The Titan was my FIRST scratch build of ANY RC anything. It's not that hard once you start.

D.Smock is right, plenty of folks here have pics of there Titan builds so you will have plenty of resources. Heck I even have pics of some guys Titan (some wierd guy ) I took w/a tape measure that shows exactly were everything should go.

most nerve wracking bit for me is drilling the hole for the stuffing tube(with bending it a close 2nd). everything else was pretty much straight forward, and if you have an example to work from...also fairly easy.
Still waiting for my boat to come in.it came in

I will second that.. My Titan sat on my table for a good two weeks before I did anything to it. The first thing I did was drill the hole. The vendor I bought it from said that was what I should always do first. I was soooo intimidated by drilling that hole. You only get one chance (or so I thought). That was honestly the scariest part, the rest was pure fun. Turns out I drilled the hole wrong though and I have since redone it.
