    Lipo Wiring gotcha

Thought I would share this with you all. This is a 3s pack, having uneven number of cells and the tabs at the end of each cell you end up with the + and - on either ends, so the company extends the wire to the other end, adding a good way of helping out ripple current. As im going to run two of these packs in series for 6s1p 4900mah, I will shorten the red wire down to about 30mm and the same on the other pack for the black and do the series join there.

Something to watch on uneven numbered cell packs (3s, 5s), the bigger mah Lipo cells seem to have tabs at either end instead of the same end.
    Matt.

I've been doing same thing. Got rid of 24" of wire in my 4 packs.
