Ballast Battery..

Thinking of buying two sets of 5s1p for the blackjack and run them in parallel. Each pack weight is approx. 1.4 lb. so two packs in parallel will add 2.8 lbs to the boat. Will this be to much weight?

I have the battery tray removed, stock motor, an inline OSE strut and rudder (Prod ID: tfl-502b15 ) and a Turnigy Marine 180amp coming.
