    Renegade Rigger build

Since this project is nearing completion, I thought I would start a thread of my build, so that all the pics are together.

Ok, here is a sneak pic of it as it is drying. It is painted with PPG black paint, with house of kolor camelon paint, with PPG clear coat. I can't wait to put the hardware on and let it rip.

Thanks, the boat is at my dads house, I havne't got to see it yet, this is a pic he sent me, he painted it up for me. I will measure it when I get it home next week. I haven't ran it yet so I don't know how good the turnfin is, I assume it is perfect because the designer designed it for this specific boat. I do know that it is suppose to weigh 13oz RTR. Mine will probably be heaiver because of the paint, I think that will actually help it in the water, I have heard people adding lead weights to it. I am running all recomended hardware CC pheonix 25, TP 1320 3 cell lipo, mile high rc 2600kv motor. I will take pics of it completed, hopefully we will get a video clip, we don't have a actual vid cam, so we will use a digital camera in video mode, so no on the fly zooming.

by any chance you you have a picture of the rudder next to a ruler? and does that rudder have a servo arm thingy on both sides or just one side?

Here is the pic you requested. It only has the servo arm on the one side. You can get this rudder with it on both sides, I think from here on OSE.

Thanks, my dad is the master with painting. I have to get my own air brush an practice a little bit, I have a bad habbit of trying to spray the coats on too thick, so I let my dad do it for me. I bought the house of Kolor paint on ebay for about $20.
