SOLDTraxxas Spartan RTR
New never used esc and motor. Replaced by Traxxas after esc failure. Esc
needs your connectors installed.
Second set of trim tabs (lower) installed plus adjuster not installed.
Cooling mods include second water pick up, bigger water jacket, enlarged
rudder pick up and larger tubing. It has three small holes on transom from a
previous secondary pickup mount. They have been clear taped and rtv filled.
Was going to tex fill them but they never caused me any problems and I
thought I may go back to the original set up.
LED lights including front white spots, left and right red-green and rear
red and white flashing. Why? It was something to do on a cold winters day.
Looks cool especially at dusk right before your ready to load up. Also
installed weather stripping to tighten up the hatch.
No matter what anybody has to say about the Spartan, it is a fun boat while
running on 4s (6s at your own risk) its great for just goofing around or for
a somewhat experienced kid to run while your running your FE. It’s only when
pushing it with a more powerful motor and esc does it become tricky to set
up. It’s not my fastest boat but the most scale and the one that gets the
most attention at the pond.
It has a couple of small scratches mostly from transport but overall in very
good condition.
