    Grimracer Motley Crew Interview

Boat looks good. The pictures from Tower don't do it any justice. Decals don't look as bad as I thought they did in the pics. Pre-ordered mine Monday. Pumped for this thing!

You are right, I thought the decals were cheesy but if the boat looks anything like the boat in the video I am impressed!! Looks good!!

A very open hull... that's always a plus.. easy to work with and looks pretty simple.

Wow, that looks really really sharp. I was thinking of going Stiletto with my next boat but this has seriously got me thinking. Nice find Diesel!

Yup, I am surprized! I have to say it does look sharp!

My only question is why the deans connectors on the boat as well as their batteries?

I can only guess, but the Deans style connectors are more "standardized" among RC's in general. They also help preventing dead shorting across the battery's and minimize incorrect connections to the controller. The term "Plug-n-Play" comes to mind.

                Just my $.02 though.

Only problem I see is Mike said the graphics were buried in the clear. Makes it harder to rework the graphics or paint so you don't have 6 of the same boat running in a heat.

dang, I am not an RTR guy, but might have to get one even if I sell it a week later - always loved that team.

Well Jim, you can always add graphics with adhesive monokote - even if it is a bear to remove.
