Its far from flat most of the times only being 100yds from the sea, I have to pick my times which is either early morning or evenings around dusk. But generally its quite windy most times so i share your frustrations more so with these very small boats. Martin.

My FE boats are both thirty-inchers (1 Cat, 1 Hydro). I prefer flat water for maiden runs & set-up changes, so as to be able to judge true running attitude without the influence of rough water conditions.

Calm days are rare here; I'd have a real problem trying to run such a small boat as your fifteen incher.

One thing i find really helps when running these smaller boat whether it be on flat or slightly rougher water is the self righting, Otherwise youd be retrieving more than running. It self rights instantly so quick sometimes you dont even realise its tripped up, No flood chambers just balance of the boat. Martin.

I wish i could say it has something really exotic & expensive, In reality it probably has one of the cheapest power plants on this forum. 450size 3800kv outrunner helicopter motor $12, Cheapo 60amp esc $20, 3s Nano Tech 2200mah 40c-90c lipo $24. Prop is metal Octura x435. Ill post another video later today. Martin.
