    Motor questions DF prince 25"

Hi, i have a 380 7xl motor sitting in my cupboard that i havent even used yet. Im not sure how it would go on 3s with a 35mm prop. im not game to use it cause im sure it will heat up too much. i dont have much money to spend so i was thinking on going to one of these motors! i would only be able to spend about 30 on the motor cause then i have a watercooling jacket on top of that!

I will run it on 4s with a slightly larger prop than my stock 35mm. will that have any heat issues with a larger prop and what kinds of speeds would we be talking with that motor ?? or if you have any other cheap motor options for around 30 that would help alot.
    thanks alot

Like everybody has told you repeatedly, choose the right prop and it will run fine. Any motor no matter how much you spend on it will heat up with the wrong prop.
How many more times are you going to post the same thing? Until somebody finally agrees with you?
If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?

Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

Just put the boat back together & run it stock to get some experience, Your trying to run before you can walk. If your going to burn some thing as we have all done in the past & still do sometimes its best to do it on less expensive stuff that you allready have than spending even more money on something else that youll probably still end up blowing. Just a thought. Thanks Martin.

ok ill just give the feigao 380 7xl a go on 3s with the stock 35mm prop and if it heats up too much sell it and upgrade to a 540 brushless!

Matt, your incessant threads are becoming a bit of a bore....you have received much sage advise...run your boat and report the findings.
